To keep costs down, please be sure to thoroughly rinse all plastic and steel items before recycling.

ACT Green can not turn in soiled plastics or steel for recycling.

You do not need to remove labels.

ANY Plastic item with a 1-7 number on the bottom that are not normally picked up by your primary recycle company. Along with Plastic grocery bags. Anything with a defined neck should go into your primary recycle service bin. All other numbered 1-7 plastics will go to ACT Green.

Whether its food, bath, cleaners, pails, lids, vitamins bottles, storage bins or anything plastic, check for the number, rinse it out and recycle it.

ACT Green accepts other plastic items such as lawn chairs, buckets etc. as long as there is a number 1-7 in a triangle on the bottom of the item.


All Glass bottles/containers Clear and Colored (Only if your primary recycle service does not offer glass recycling, otherwise glass should go into your primary recycle service bin)

Electronics: Computers ,Monitors, Telephones, Fax Machines, Printers and Copiers ,Televisions, Rechargeable batteries ,Electronic Circuit boards and components ,Stereo Equipment, Games, PDA’s. (If you have multiple items or large items, please call ahead to schedule a pick up)

ACT Green Recycle Service ONLY ACCEPTS the  additional below listed items if you are in an unincorporated area:
